This privacy policy was last updated on 5 June 2026. It is written for Australian customers and is intended to describe clearly how Nookera manages personal information, including under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles where they apply.
2. Who we are
Nookera is operated by BlackAurum Pty Ltd · ABN 74 696 572 666. Privacy questions, access requests, correction requests, deletion requests, and complaints can be sent to hello@nookera.com.au.
3. What we collect
We may collect your email address, account and sign-in information, verification-code activity, selected property address, report order details, report status, download access records, support messages, payment status and payment identifiers, device and browser metadata, IP address, approximate country signals for admin support, and service logs.
4. Why we use it
We use personal information to operate accounts, prevent unauthorised access, verify email addresses, prepare and deliver reports, process support requests, manage subscriptions and included-report use, respond to refunds or disputes, maintain payment and tax records, improve reliability, detect abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Payments and checkout
Card entry and card processing are handled by Stripe. We store the payment identifiers, amount, product type, status, refund or dispute state, and order record needed to fulfil and support your purchase. We do not store full card numbers.
6. Service providers
We may disclose limited information to service providers that help operate the service, including payment processing, cloud hosting, email delivery, customer sign-in, security monitoring, error handling, and support. Current provider categories include Stripe for payments, Google for optional sign-in, Resend or another email provider for transactional email, and cloud infrastructure providers for hosting and storage.
7. Overseas disclosure
Some service providers may process or store information outside Australia, including in the United States or other jurisdictions where those providers operate. We use those providers to run the service, process payments, deliver email, support sign-in, and protect reliability.
8. Reports and downloads
Your completed PDF is stored securely and can be downloaded from your account for 30 days after it's ready.
9. Property addresses
A selected property address can be personal information where it relates to an identifiable person. We use selected property details to identify the property, prepare the report, support the order, and maintain order history. Do not submit a property address unless you are comfortable using it for those purposes.
10. Questions and uploads
If Nookera offers a question, image, or document-upload feature, submitted material may be used to answer the request, support the order, investigate service quality, and maintain records. Do not upload identity documents, bank details, health information, or other sensitive information unless we specifically ask for it.
11. Automated analysis
Nookera uses automated systems to organise report evidence and may use automated checks to help detect payment, account, or service abuse. Automated report output is not professional advice. If an automated decision could materially affect account access or delivery, contact us and we will review the issue.
13. Email
We send transactional email such as verification codes, report-ready messages, refund notices, download-access notices, payment-dispute notices, and account security messages. If an order needs support, check your order page or account for the latest status. If we send marketing email in the future, it must identify Nookera and include an unsubscribe path.
14. Retention
We keep account, order, payment, report, support, and security records for as long as needed to operate the service, handle refunds or disputes, meet accounting and legal obligations, detect abuse, and support customers. Some records may be retained after an account is closed where required for those purposes.
15. Access, correction, and deletion
You can ask to access, correct, or delete personal information by emailing hello@nookera.com.au. We may need to verify your identity before acting. We may refuse or limit a request where permitted by law, including where records must be retained for accounting, dispute, fraud prevention, security, or legal reasons.
16. Complaints
If you have a privacy complaint, contact hello@nookera.com.au with enough detail for us to investigate. We will respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied, you may be able to contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner or another relevant regulator.
17. Data breach handling
If we become aware of a data breach likely to result in serious harm, we will assess the incident and take required notification steps under Australian privacy law.
